Regional Manager Job Description


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the company procedures and policies.
  • Responsibility of all activities of car rental including the rental of car to customers, selling CDW, added value services…etc.
  • Finding feasible new rental locations.
  • Responsibility of all activities of car leasing including market segmentation, leading and training the sales team and attending major sales meetings with sales team to help closing important deals.
  • Periodic evaluation of RAC and lease corporate clients to renegotiate unprofitable deals.
  • Work on the lists of inactive clients and find ways to get them to be active again.
  • Building of strong relationship and trust with clients.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings.
  • Maintaining positive cultures among his region of responsibility, i.e. family atmosphere, quality, professionalism, customer orientation, sense of responsibility, loyalty, honesty, challenge, innovation, discipline, dedication, trust…etc.
  • Attending customers’ emails, phone calls, complaints and resolve them.
  • Maintenance of the fleet including the control of vehicle cost and vehicle workshop average days.
  • Monitoring of daily utilization of the fleet and makes sure the proper car is available at the proper station at the proper time.
  • Market and competition surveys.
  • Adhere to the approved business plans.
  • Maintains high levels of consistent quality.
  • Used car sale as per the fleet plan and according to the sale policy.
  • Candidate interviews and recommendations of qualified ones to the director.
  • Staff probationary and annual evaluations including recommendations for promotions and terminations.
  • Preparation of staff requirements with valid justifications.
  • Preparation of regular and irregular reports to the director.
  • Performing regular and sudden checkups on all rental stations during working hours and out of them as well as on workshops.
  • Maintaining company’s reputation, image and branding.
  • Coordination and cooperation with colleges in other regions and supporting departments through proper channels.

Qualifications, skills and requirements:

  • 30 to 40 years of age, with transferable Iqama (for non-Saudis) and valid driving license.
  • Good physical health and appearance.
  • Bilingual: English and Arabic speaking, reading and writing.
  • MBA or Industrial Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in automobile field precisely in a managerial and supervisory position.
  • Computer literate including knowledge of emailing and presentations.
  • Execution skills (get job done).
  • Good managerial and supervision skills.
  • Good sales skills.
  • Good knowledge of automobiles and their related matters.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Motivation capability.
  • Hard working and patience capabilities.
  • Ability to learn, innovate and challenge.
  • Good analyzing, decision making and time management skills.
  • Problem solving skills (Demonstrated).
